Bone Density
A bone density scan, also known as a DEXA scan, is a test similar to an X-ray that quickly and accurately measures calcium and other minerals in your bones. The measurements show the strength and thickness (bone density or mass) of your bones.

Used primarily to detect osteopenia or osteoporosis, diseases in which the bone’s mineral and density are low, and the risk of fractures increase.

Cardiac CT / MRI
Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses a powerful magnetic field, radio waves, and a computer to produce detailed images of the structures within and around the heart.

A Cardiac CT or Coronary CT Angiogram is used to evaluate the coronary vessels of the heart and structural integrity of the heart.

Fluoroscopy
Fluoroscopy is a type of medical imaging that shows continuous X-ray images on a monitor, much like an X-ray movie. During a fluoroscopy procedure, an x-ray beam passes through the body.

The image is transmitted to a monitor so the movement of a body part or an instrument or contrast agent (“X-ray dye”) through the body is seen in detail.

CT Scan
A CT Scan (Computed Tomography Scan) makes use of computer-processed combinations of a series of X-ray measurements taken from different angles to produce cross-sectional (tomographic) images, or virtual ‘slices’ of specific areas of a scanned object, allowing the radiologist to see inside the body without cutting.

MRI Scan
An MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a technique used to form pictures of the anatomy and the physiological processes of the body, using strong magnetic fields and radio waves.

Ultrasound
An Ultrasound scan is a medical test that uses high-frequency sound waves that travels through soft tissue and fluids but bounces back or echoes off denser surfaces inside the body to capture and produce live images.

Often referred to as sonography.

X-Ray
X-ray imaging creates pictures of the inside of the body through high-energy electromagnetic radiation.

These images show the parts of your body in different shades of black and white, it is possible because different tissue absorbs different amounts of radiation.

Mammography
Mammography is the process of using low-energy X-rays to examine the breast for diagnosis and screening.

Mammography is used mainly for the early detection of breast cancer, typically through the detection of characteristic masses or microcalcifications.

Cochlear MRI / Cone Beam CT
CT and MRI scans can provide a better picture of the anatomy and pathology of the inner ear. These tests are complementary to each other for pre-operative imaging of cochlear implantation.

Cone Beam CT has become increasingly important in treatment planning and diagnosis in implant dentistry, ENT, orthopedics, and interventional radiology.

Prostate MRI
An MRI of the prostate uses a powerful magnetic field, radio waves, and a computer to produce detailed images of the structures within a man’s prostate gland.

Primarily used as a screening tool to detect significant cancer in the prostate and evaluate extend of neoplastic spread.

Breast MRI
Breast MRI is used in addition to Mammography. An MRI uses magnetic and radio waves to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the breast.

The test is used to detect abnormalities in the breasts and has shown substantial progress in the early detection of breast cancer.

MRI Defecogram
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Defecogram is a non-invasive test that uses magnetic waves to obtain images for evaluating the pelvic muscle and how it is working. It also provides insight into rectal function with detailed images produced during bowel movements.
