Radiographer
We seek a skilled and dedicated Radiographer to join our dynamic team at a bustling radiology practice. This position is available at our Muelmed branch in Arcadia, Pretoria.
As a Radiographer with us, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high- quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures, as physicians prescribe, including X-rays, CT scans, bone density, fluoroscopy, mammography, QC, portables, and theatre.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment by safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members as needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Radiography.
- Valid registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
- Proven experience as a Radiographer, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating imaging equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle a high volume of patients.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care.
